After completing her AS degree and earning her BA degree, Karla, the founder, created Little Details from her dorm. She was working night shifts then, so her mother suggested (almost begged her) to retake jewelry making and start selling it on campus as a safer alternative to college funding.

2020- COVID Frenzy

By the time COVID hit, Little Details already had established an excellent online and on-campus clientele, a website, and what seemed to be just a side hustle was turning into a full-time job. But things started to scale when she traveled back home to Puerto Rico because of the pandemic, which led to increased sales, her sister joining the jewelry business, and the pivot.

As if the pandemic wasn't enough, by the end of 2021 our Instagram account was hacked. Unsure about what could happen with our strongest social media platform, we realized two things:

A. Don't keep all your eggs in one basket

B. Change the name and rebrand

You know what they say about life and lemons, right? So we did precisely that- Margaritas (if you thought it was lemonade, we could be friends, but if you knew it was margaritas, let's call ourselves best friends from now on). Although, this time, margaritas included a rebrand, a more structured business model, and a commitment, which brings us to today.

ELEDÉ comes from the Spanish pronunciation of the first two letters of our former business name (LD). As we grew in the jewelry business as Little Details, we realized that the little details weren't so little. The community we created, the impact we made, and the lives we touched led us to believe that our brand should carry a name that bests represent what we are.

Eledé is hard work, a mom wanting the best for her daughter, transformation, passion, a side hustle that turned into opportunities, and the commitment to provide unique jewelry that turns into memories and can transcend generations.
